I've always been terrified of these automated toilets, refusing to set foot in one even once. My fear? That something would malfunction, and I would be stuck inside with hot cleaning solvent spraying all over me as it "self-cleaned." Turns out, my fears are justified. After spending $5 million on five automated public toilets, Seattle is just saying no to the stinking, filthy hell-holes their automated toilets have become. It got so bad that even though they're free to use, homeless drug addicts turned their noses up. Result? They're now on eBay for $89,000 a piece. Let the bidding wars begin!

Frantic Rescue Effort Saves Doll, Not Baby
Remember those creepy, life-like "reborn" dolls I told you about a while back? Well, here's how real they look: A police officer in Queensland, Australia smashed a car window to rescue a baby he thought was unconscious inside. And this is not an isolated incident. It's happened in the US, too. These $1,000 and up babies are "even weighted to feel like a baby's weight and they flop like a baby," says their designer (shown above with one of her creations).
